This photo was taken at Gaohanchuan in the Longshan Mountains. Gaohanchuan is a pristine natural scenic area of alpine meadows, renowned for its beautiful landscapes and clean air, making it an ideal location for stargazing. Every August, the Perseid meteor shower occurs when the Earth passes through the debris trail left by the periodic comet Swift-Tuttle. As comet fragments hurtle into the atmosphere at high speed, they burn up due to friction with the air, creating brilliant streaks of light across the night sky.
